About Me

Hi, I’m Melissa.

In 2018, at 33 years young, I was diagnosed with Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis (RRMS).

Cue melodramatic theme music:

Just kidding on the soundtrack suggestion, but now you’re going to have it in your head and there’s nothing you can do about it! Muahaha.

Anyway, moving on. Despite this site’s name, it’s not going to be religiously-themed. What I mean by that is this: it’s going to be real. Aspects of what I share may be spiritual or religious, because that IS real. That IS me, but it’s just one of many facets.

Please know that whether the musings I share end up being positive or not-so-positive, my biggest objective with this site is to be genuine. I would hope “genuine” is the word that describes me best both in this effort and in general, but I understand that others will have to take my sincerity at my word. With that said, I want to share my authentic truth about life with MS, in the hope that my experience may help others who are searching for what I have to offer. That’s the gospel truth!

Lastly, you may be wondering what my MS backstory has looked like. It’s too long for this “About Me” section, that’s for sure. Suffice it to say, I promise to tell you all about the process of how I got here and where this journey is taking me. Follow my posts for the nitty-gritty, as well as to learn why I’m writing this very public blog about a very private experience in the first place. There’s a story there, too.

Thanks for reading, peeps. Sure ‘preciate ya. Now make yourselves comfortable and stay for awhile!
